This is an Intensive Outpatient Program in Denver for children and adolescents ages 10-14 whose mental health concerns require more than weekly individual therapy or are stepping down from a higher level of care. The IOP treats a variety of mental health disorders and issues.
We can also screen children, adolescents, and teens who are at either end of the age range and potentially serve them based on treatment needs.
We have applied all our knowledge from the past 65+ years to create a curriculum in the following areas.
One-to-one therapy for children and adolescents.
Individual therapy is a safe space to work on issues that are challenging or interfering with a general sense of wellbeing or navigating the complexities of life.
Topics can include developing emotional regulation and social skills, anxiety and mood, family relationships, adjusting to a loss or trauma, and school. This 1:1 child mental health service addresses a wide array of issues.
We offer a variety of family mental health services and one-off workshops.
Family counseling sessions create a place for families to come together and work on communication, cooperation, conflict resolution, or adjusting to trauma or transition.
At times, parents just need a place to explore their own parenting style and develop skills to support a child with emotional or mental health needs.

Examples include Emotionally -Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Supporting Healthy Technology Use and more.
